Hang-ah wakes up in the hospital and Dad fils her in on the miscarriage. At the palace, Jae-ha refuse Secretary Eun's advice to abandon Hang-ah to save the monarchy. He then calls Shi-kyung to make arrangements for a secret mission to bring Hang-ah back to the palace. Meanwhile, Bong-gu gets warned that his next plan to scare the king is too dangerous right now, but he won’t be derailed—Jae-ha is his original target, and he’s going to strike now.
